Four Square is a non-profit organization based in beautiful Western NC mountains of Andrews NC and we serve the four county region in Western NC – Cherokee, Clay, Graham, and Swain counties. This area is near the Great Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Nantahala River to name just a few of our natural resources. Four Square oversees multiple low-income support programs to meet the needs of our clients. We are a team-centered workplace that supports our community and values our employees.Director of Health Opportunities: As the FSCA Director of Healthy Opportunities for North Carolina Managed Medicaid, you will lead the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and addressing social determinants of health (SDOH) for Medicaid beneficiaries across the FSCA 4 county region (Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Swain) North Carolina. Duties include oversight of staff/volunteer scheduling and work goals, financial integrity, invoicing, and tracking budgetary requirements, and quality assurance of the HOP program. These elements of the job each require documentation for client records, case files, and other legal obligations per FSCA policies and Impact Health’s guidelines. Social Work Coordinator or Community Health Worker: Full time position for case coordination for Healthy Opportunity Medicaid program clients. Primary work location Andrews, NC but may involve travel to clients. Must have professional and hospitable demeanor with clients and co-workers and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and input of case notes and data to track service delivery. Education/Training: Position requires experience delivering social work services utilizing case plans. Prefer experience working with all high‐need clients.
Resource Development Andrews Office: 16-24 hours per week. Responsible for overseeing Four Square fundraising and management of relationships with financial partners. Duties include planning fundraising events, interacting with donors and seeking out opportunities for financial support through grants and sponsorships. Education/Experience: prefer experience in the field of planning, fundraising and donor relations. Great writing and computer skills.

Four Square Community Action serves the four westernmost counties in Western NC. Our mission is to open doors for vulnerable individuals and families by providing advocacy, services and resources to increase self-sufficiency. We strive daily to break the cycle of poverty in our region by helping individuals and families turn their hopes into reality, offering the support and resources people need to attain a higher quality of life.
Because we offer multiple services Four Square has an array of volunteer needs. Our programs serve over 1700 low-income clients annually.

Grant writing supports
Community fundraising events with purpose. Funds are needed to improve
unrestricted funds availability for clients that do not fit the restricted
funding mandates of grantors.
Teams to facilitate alignment of Community Stakeholders with common goals and
mission
Financial training for our board and staff
Improved methods to refine tools and reporting for financial management
Digital training expertise and resources for marketing and social media methods
Housing Repair programs have multiple opportunities to address health and safety construction needs for elderly and disabled clients. Urgent Repairs program for high-need elderly and
